Now Accepting Applications: 2025 CCPA Medical Student Scholarship
The Cook County Physicians’ Association (CCPA) is proud to announce its 2025 Scholarship opportunity for medical students currently enrolled in Illinois medical schools. First through fourth-year students are eligible and encouraged to apply—please note that previous recipients are not eligible.
This scholarship recognizes medical students who have demonstrated leadership, a commitment to social justice, and efforts to advance health equity in the African-American community.
All applications must include the following four (4) required documents:
1) The completed application of students from Illinois medical schools.
2) An official statement of need from your medical school’s Financial Aid Office.
3) A NON-PDF application essay or personal statement of 500 words or less. APPLICATIONS EXCEEDING 500 WORDS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
4) Resumé or Curriculum Vitae (CV). Describe your proven leadership skills, your extracurricular commitment to social justice, and your demonstrated promotion of health in the African-American community.
